Music Parties & trophy program

Students will have an opportunity to share their music with family and friends at 2 annual events: 

         The Spring Music Picnic and The Winter Music Party

The Spring Music Picnic is held at the Cranberry Township Park.  We set up a pavilion with piano, guitars,  and amplifiers.  Students may come any time throughout the day and share their music.  Students sign their name on a clipboard to play and may perform as many times as they wish.  This is an excellent opportunity for piano and guitar students to participate in "jamming" sessions with other students!

The Winter Music Party is a more formal environment.  Students are assigned  a time to attend and share their music.  This event is held at the American Legion in Zelienople.

Notice that both events are referred to as music parties.  Our goal is to teach students the fun of sharing their music with others.  This is a time for them to choose a song that they enjoy playing.  (not to have anxiety over learning a new, 'hard' song to perform)

Trophies will be awarded at our Annual Winter Music Party.  To be eligible for a trophy, students need to have been enrolled on or before June 1st and continue thru the summer.  Students who participate and are not eligible for a trophy will receive a ribbon.
